Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom is an American science-fiction adventure film premiered in 2018, as a sequel to Jurassic World (2015), and the fifth production of the long-history Jurassic Park series. The film is directed by J. A. Bayona, with legendary Steven Spielberg as executive producer.

The film is set on a fictional island Isla Nublar located in Central America, off the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, which was previously the site of the Jurassic Park devastated and abandoned after the 2015 disaster. Many dinosaurs are surviving over there, without any sight of humans. Upon receiving news that the volcano on the island is about to erupt again, Owen Grady and Claire Dearing decide to fly to the island to rescue the surviving dinosaurs.
During and after the rescue process, Owen and Claire discovers a plot of a a force to breed unknowned monstrous dinosaurs, serving military and commercial goals. These subsequent incidents cause many dinosaurs to escape into the natural environment, then living in the human world.
The sequel to the series titled Jurassic World 3: Dominion is expected to be released on June 11, 2021, with Trevorrow back as a director.
