After two failed attempts to invade the Earth, the villain Darkseid destroyed many planets in the universe, prompting the Justice League and the Teen Titans to launch a counterattack on the planet Apokolips to stop Darksied's expansion.
However, Darkseid has the intel on all Justice League's attack plans and plots thanks to an Apokolyptian technology spied on Cyborg. As soon as the Justice League set foot on the Apokolips, they are immediately defeated by Darkseid's forces, some heroes were killed and the rest are captured and brainwashed or controlled to be Darkseid's servants, in which Batman becomes the commander in charge to execute Darksied's ambitions.
Two years later, Darkseid's forces have taken over the Earth and are using a machine called Reaper to suck the Earth's magma core, which will cause massive earthquakes and will eventually destroy the entire planet.
The surviving heroes in bad shape have tried their last efforts to rally the forces to counter attack Darkseid's forces, many of who were their own allies and friends in the past.
