Jurassic World 3 will be released in June 2022; However, the movie fans will soon have the opportunity to enjoy a 5-minute preview at IMAX theaters, in front of Fast & Furious 9 – F9. The preview is set in the late Cretaceous when a Tyrannosaurus Rex (T-Rex) fights against a Giganotosaurus and dies.

T-Rex was defeated by Giganotosaurus and thrown off a cliff, where it died and a mosquito sucked its blood. The mosquito was then stained in an amber, and from the blood contained in this amber, scientists cloned T-Rex back to life after nearly 100 million years. It is the beginning of the Jurassic series.
Colin Trevorrow also said that Giganotosaurus will not only appear in the Dominion preview, but will continue throughout the film and serve as the main antagonist - the big bad. As such, Giganotosaurus will probably be cloned also and will have a confrontation with T-Rex again in this modern world.
After the Fallen Kingdom 2018 and before Dominion, Colin Trevorrow also made a Jurassic short film called "The Battle at Big Rock".
