#GoT Prequel Bloodmoon: Night King is the oldest White Walker ever in existence

Game of Thrones is over with all the most promising candidates for the throne dead, the last dragon flying away, and the Iron Throne melt down ... People are looking forward (maybe backward) to its prequel – the most likely title of #Boodmoon so far.

“The Long Night” has been named for an episode in Game of Thrones Final Season, so it’s unlikely to be used again for the Prequel.

OVERALL OF THE #BLOODMOON LITERALLY

Thousands and thousands of years ago, a winter fell that was cold and hard and endless beyond all memory of man. There came a night that lasted a generation, and kings shivered and died in their castles even as the swineherds in their hovels. Women smothered their children rather than see them starve, and cried, and felt their tears freeze on their cheeks…In that darkness, the Others came for the first time,” she said as her needles went click click click.

“They were cold things, dead things, that hated iron and fire and the touch of the sun, and every creature with hot blood in its veins. They swept over holdfasts and cities and kingdoms, felled heroes and armies by the score, riding their pale dead horses and leading hosts of the slain. All the swords of men could not stay their advance, and even maidens and suckling babes found no pity in them. They hunted the maids through frozen forests, and fed their dead servants on the flesh of human children.

TIME OF THE #BLOODMOON

HBO’s  descriptions of the show: Taking place thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series chronicles the world’s descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour. From the horrifying secrets of Westeros’s history to the true origin of the White Walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend, only one thing is for sure: It’s not the story we think we know.

WHICH HOUSES EVER EXISTED IN THE #BLOODMOON ERA?

“There’s no King’s Landing. There’s no Iron Throne. There are no Targaryens — Valyria has hardly begun to rise yet with its dragons and the great empire that it built,” Martin told Entertainment Weekly.

“We’re dealing with a different and older world, and hopefully that will be part of the fun of the series.” But there will be Starks, he teased. So among the seven Houses existing the Westeros world, the Starks is the oldest one  and actually the most powerful and long lasting one, with Ban Stark now being as king of Westeros and Sansa Stark being Queen in the independent North.

NIGHT KING SHALL BE THE ONLY FIGURRE EXISTING IN BOTH SHOWS?

“None of the characters or actors from Game of Thrones will appear in the new show,” Martin wrote in a blog post, adding that this pilot “really puts the PRE in prequel, since it is set not ninety years before Game of Thrones ... or a few hundred years, but rather ten thousand years.”

But there is one exception: the Night King who nearly put an end to the existence of human in Winterfell. The Night King lived for thousands of years before he and his Army of the Dead appeared on Game of Thrones.  Indeed, he was the first White Walker in existence. Martin has confirmed in July 2019 that the White Walkers will definitely reappear, it seems likely that the Night King will make an appearance along with them.

The Night King and the other White Walkers were meant to defend the Children of the Forest from the rest of the First Men, who were invading Westeros at that time. Maybe, it was because of that purpose, the Night King brought Westeros into the Long Night in the #Bloodmoon era, and thousands years later he did it again in Winterfell.
