A mysterious virus breaks out in the US State of Lousiana, turning people into zombies which frantically searching for others to bite, kill and then spread the virus over and over. The Vice President of the United States is on a field trip, campaigning for the next election when he is attacked by a pack of walking dead (or more exactly running dead), forcing him and his aides to hide themselves in the Batan Rouge Capitol Building.
The Navy commander mobilizes the Seal Team, nicknamed Jackal, which is considered the best among concurrent seal teams to find and rescue the Vice President. At the same time, CIA agent Thomas approachs the Commander and reveals the secrets behind the zombie virus outbreak, and asks to have Seal Team Jackal rescue the scientist who is working on a vaccine against this virus who is taking shelter in a building near the Capitol.
Unlike the zombies in The Walking Dead or Fear The Working Dead series, which are weak and slow, the zombies in this movie are extremely agile and powerful. Seal Team Jackal expedites without knowing what they are facing, so the team suffers many casualties.
Eventually, they successfully rescues the Vice President, but the evacuation helicopter crashes soon on the way back. They then continue to rescue the target scientist.
AJ - a rookie of Jackal was bitten by a zombie but he is naturally immune to this virus; and that gives clues and foundations for scientists to later make successful vaccines.
