Pamela finally finds that the culprits who killed the construction workers to create the zombies killing her son were Horby's subordinates. She applies quite brutal revenge against Hornby.
Eugene is worried that Max would be punished, so he turn himself in, taking all the blame.
On the way back to the settlements, Jerry is injured while pushing a wagon. Aagon's group then have to spend the night in an abandoned fenced house.
In the middle of the night, a swarm of zombies floods in. There are some undead that can climb, unlock knobs, and even use stone to attack. Aagon initially thought it was the Whisperers, but he eventually determines that they are the undead of a new variant.
