In Episode 8, "THE WORLD BEFORE", the survivors are in much debates on how to punish Dante after all the bad things he caused to them, especially after Siddiq's death. Meanwhile, Carol continues her endless efforts to track down the whereabouts of Alpha dead walkers.
Negan does not show up in this episode, meanwhile Alpha only appears in the flash back of Dante: how two of them met and how she assigned him to blend in the survivors as a spy.
Gamma goes through some changes in mind after coming to know the fact that Alpha never killed Lyra as declared. Gamma find herself in an urge to see her grandson again, and reveals some information to Aaron in exchange for the opportunity to meet the boy.
Based on the hint given by Gamma, Daryl, Carol and some fighters at Oceanside make a search into Alpha's territory and all fall into a cave where a big herd of walkers is being kept.
