The three killer sharks are the product of a biotechnology company's research project, of which aim is to commercially create drugs improving human natural capabilities. They escape to the ocean and become a terrifying threat to marine life, including even killer whales.
To eradicate the consequences of their project as well as in fear of the danger when the three sharks begin to mate, the biological company decides to send a team of hunters, accompanied by a biologist who is the master behind the genetically-engineered project, to search and destroy them.
The hunting takes place near a floating village on a small island cap in the ocean where Dr. Emma Collins (actress Tania Raymonde) and her team are studying the effects of climate change on white sharks.
When the three bull sharks enter this waters, a group of hunters on a ship, including biologist Richard (actor Nathaniel Buzolic) as Emma's ex-boyfriend, approach the village and her team to ask for help by telling a fake story on their plan.
Emma's team gradually discover the secrets and motives of the hunter group. The shark hunt turns many human on both sides into sharks' food. More than that, the human insiders also begin to slaughter each other.
