In episode 14, Look at the flowers, Carol blames Negan for how it takes so long to kill Alpha, then she decides be alone into the forest, however, she is haunted by Alpha's voice and ghost.
Also in this episode, Eugene pursuades others to begin their journey to meet a new community, from the words of the woman he met on the radio. Beta, after Alpha's death, returns to his old home to look back some memories and find a new direction for the pack.
Meanwhile, Carol's sudden disappearance leaves Negan in a ironic situation when Daryl catches on him and could not believe the fact that Negan had killed Alpha. If without some luck, Negan - who was eager to write another chapter in his Epic - might have accidentally killed by Daryl.
